I’m an Arkansas native and just a simple, home baker/chief cook, and bottle washer. I firmly believe the kitchen is the heart of the home and the place where some of our greatest memories are created – along with a few delicious recipes as well. Like many others from my generation, my first experience with baking was with an Easy Bake Oven in 1965. My Mom let me watch her and copycat what she was making. There were many failures along the way, but Mom always told me, “It will be fine!” She was right. It was her never-ending encouragement that built the foundation for my love of baking/cooking. I want to pass that encouragement on to others in their kitchens.
